Reprising last year’s role, I’ll be delivering the benediction at this year’s B’nai Brith Hamilton Sports Celebrity Dinner on Monday, January 26, 2015. What an honour to be seated at the same table as such legends as Devon White, MLB All-Star and World Series Champion, Dave Andreychuk, Stanley Cup Champion!
Honoured guests at the head table include:
Laura Fortino (Canadian Olympic Gold Medalist), Jim Morris (MLB pitcher and inspiration for Disney’s The Rookie), Glen Grunwald (ex-GM Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks), Joe Bowen (the Voice of the Toronto Maple Leafs), and Derek Willis (the Voice of the Calgary Flames).
I’ll be particularly glad to take part in this year’s celebrity dinner as the admirable Phil Rosenshein, one of Hamilton’s greatest mensches and philanthropists, is the guest of honour.
