KING
DAVID, the new musical that wowed audiences at the 800-seat
Monument-National Theatre in December 2003, at the Saidye
Bronfman Centre in 2002 and at the Oscar Peterson Concert
Hall in May 2003, made its triumphant Toronto premiere at
the beautiful Winter Garden Theatre on March 7, 2005.
Having
long been the black sheep of the family, David decides to
attain celebrity - to be loved by one and all. But the desire
to be accepted and loved turns into a desire for power - and
the only one who can stop him is... himself. Based on the
classic Biblical story.
Book,
music, & lyrics by EYAL
BITTON.
