CANTOR TIBOR KOVARI , a native of Cluj, Romania,
has warmed our hearts since becoming the Hazzan at Beth Tikvah
in June, 2003. He joined us from Halifax, Nova Scotia, where
he served as Cantor, mentor, teacher, and youth leader in
the Beth Israel Synagogue. In Bucharest, Tibor served as an
acting Rabbi and Cantor. Currently, Tibor is working on developing
musical talent within Beth Tikvah. He is studying music with
Helen Greenberg and voice with David Dunbar. Tibor has initiated
several new youth and young adult choirs as well as a shul
band. He continues to sing regularly with the Beth Tikvah
Choir. [TOP]

duet "Eli Eli" at the Earl Bales commemoration and has been
invited back this year. He has also sung in the Associated
Hebrew Schools Choir and played various roles in The BJCC's

Tefillah Synagogue where he celebrated his Bar Mitzvah. [TOP]

JASON ALLEN is very happy to be performing under
the ambitious eye of Eyal Bitton again. Favourite roles include
the title characters in Eyal Bitton's musicals King David,
The Musical and Moses, The Musical Saga, as well as Wedding
Singer, Donny Dolce in Tony and Tina's Wedding and a recent
stint in the Toronto cast of The Decide Show. Look for him
this spring in the National Geographic Network's documentary,
The Great Quake. Jason would like to thank his partner in
crime, Phil for endless love and support. [TOP] |
