EYAL BITTON is a composer, lyricist, librettist, and musical director.

Eyal wrote the book, music, and lyrics for KING DAVID The Musical (Winter Garden Theatre Mar. 2005, Monument-National Dec. 2003, Oscar Peterson Concert Hall May 2003, Saidye Bronfman Centre 2002), MOSES The Musical Saga (Saidye Bronfman Centre, June 28, 2004),FREEDOM: The Moses & Martin Luther King, Jr. Musical Tribute (Oscar Peterson Concert Hall 1999), ISRAELECTRIC (Comedy Nest 1998), THE CHILD (Monument-National 1997, featuring a choir of 60, a cast of 16, and a 25-piece orchestra), and the Jerusalem 3000 oratorio JOURNEY TO JERUSALEM (Beth Tikvah Toronto, April 3, 2006; Salle Claude-Champagne 1996, featuring a choir of 175 and 25-piece orchestra). He arranged & orchestrated the music for ISRAEL THEN & NOW (Toronto 2007).

He wrote lyrics for the musical of Mordecai Richler's The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz (Saidye Bronfman Centre 1997). He also wrote music for Liliane Atlan's play Les Messies (Saidye Bronfman Centre 1996).

His musical direction and vocal arrangement credits for theatre include Les Mers Rouges (Toronto Fringe Festival 2005), No More Raisins No More Almonds (SBC 2003), and The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz (SBC 1997) directed by Bryna Wasserman.

Eyal Bitton is currently the Choir Director of Toronto's Beth Tikvah Synagogue Choir, formerly conducted by Srul Irving Glick. Eyal's choral compositions and arrangements have been performed in synagogues, churches, and concert halls in Montreal, Ottawa, New York, and Israel. He has conducted choirs for The Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue (Canada's first congregation), Adath Israel Poale Zedek , Jewish Peoples and Peretz Schools, La Chorale Kinor of the Communauté Sépharade Unifiée du Québec, and others.

He has composed over 130 liturgical pieces .
